Regional Judge (Trampoline)

Saturday 10th September 2011, 10.00am – 4.30pm & Saturday 17th September 2011, 10.00am – 4.30pm

Closing Date: Friday 2nd September 2011

Eligibility: Candidates must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the course and have held the County Judge award for a minimum of 1 year. Candidates must have judged at a minimum of 10 BG approved competitions of the appropriate level since gaining the County Judge award including 3 as tariff judge.

Syllabus: Knowledge of competition rules and their interpretation. Duties of Chair of the Judges. Judge form of routines up to 9.0 tariff. Judge difficulty of routines up to a level of 7.0 tariff using FIG numeric system. Judge synchronisation (unlimited level).

Exam
Theory Paper: 20 questions covering the syllabus. Duration 1 hour. Pass mark 75%.
Practical: 1. Form judge 5 routines up to difficulty 10.0. Pass mark 75%.
2. Difficulty judge 6 routines up to 7.5 tariff using FIG numeric system. Pass mark 75%.

Cost: 2 separate cheques as below:
Course fee: TRAMPOLINE COURSES - £35.00 for applicants attached to a London region club, £40 for all other applicants (payable to London Trampolining).

DMT COURSES - £17.50 for applicants attached to a London region club, £20 for all other applicants (payable to London Trampolining).

Exam fee: TRAMPOLINE & DMT COURSES - £15.00 (payable to British Gymnastics).
No refunds after the closing date.

Details are sent out via email therefore please quote an email address that is checked on a regular basis.

It is not a requirement for a candidate to have British Gymnastics membership or a CRB in place to attend a course but anyone intending to use the award (ie. judge at a competition) is then classed as being in a regulated activity and therefore required to have BG membership and a BG CRB. If you are a member of British Gymnastics, please quote your membership number on your application.
